Wow! That is a very nice and complete analysis. :D I have noticed the problems with Holst: The Planets and this is independent of the display brightness level. Since I very seldom use the search function I did not notice the problems. However, I just tried out the problems that you have mentioned ou...

I currently monitor the forums, but I don't have anything to add on this topic. I know the software doesn't currently try to turn off the digital out. I'm not very familiar with the history of this particular request, but I will try and get more information no this topic, though you might not be ha...

I would contact the manufacturer since the unit is within the warranty period. On a side note, the display problem could stem from a power supply failure. You may want to check that the power supply output voltage is within specifications.

It happened to my SBRadio last night as well. The time was off by 17 hours and 40 minutes. Now as Roku has released the Netflix set-top box, perhaps they find some time to work on this problem.

I have not used 3.0.44 for a while. I meant 3.0.49 indeed. This was a beta version. It also works with the latest beta 3.0.51. You can find this version here: http://www.roku.com/products/soundbridge/software/beta/.

The mileage you are getting from a wireless connection depends on several factors, e.g distance, wall material and thickness, the 'angle' between the router and the SB. What I mean by angle is, for example, if the router is located on the first floor while the SB is on the second floor then under a ...

The web interface does not always reflect the actual status. I still would use the volume up arrow on the remote to ensure that the volume bar on the SB display shows 100%.

This may be a very stupid question: Is there any chance that the volume on the SB is set to 0%?

Try to unplug the M1000, wait for a minute or so and plug it back in again. Try the remote again. If this does not work and you have access to a programmable universal remote (e.g. Logitech Harmony) then, after programming it for the M1000, use this one and see it the SB responds.
