Thanks for the informative reply. I agree, the fun-factor is also of some importance. I have an HP Media Smart Server to store vids, should I ever want to get them to TV. I'll check out the D_Link. I love this possibility they have added, of maybe streaming direct online TV content, but it sounds li...

Re: Shame

[...] It was a tough (and costly) switch, but I just felt like the device was not suiting my needs because of this. I keep looking in though -- my hopes are that sooner or later I might see it. I figure each time I drop another $300 for a Squeezebox (3 now) I pop in here and hope that I might just ...

However, I have not succeeded in getting firefly to allow me to access paid-for tunes in itunes. I can use Ro...

Well, it's certainly an interesting and instructive response.

I don't recall any built-in Soundbridge web page, so I guess I'll have to check to see if I have any disks around or something, that go with it (once I get my laptop back home).

How to memorize Rhapsody Radio Stations

I bought my Roku 500 for basically one reason: because it would allow me to turn my computer off and still stream radio stations directly from my DSL modem to my stereo system. When I recieved the Roku last fall, I found that I was only able to memorize itunes stations into the system, and not Rhaps...
