Sounds similar to this post: http://www.rokulabs.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=24889
Thanks a million for the link. I guess my player was sending out too much signal, hence the washout. When I dialed back the contrast and brightness, it looked fine (even though my TV wa...

boo hoo. No responses (but lots of views???!!!). OK, then, I guess I'll have to report my findings... Seems that my unit has some issue with the pass through component video (described in my above post). The wires are all ok, because when I hook the video from both the DVD player and the Roku up to ...

I have tried different output on my Roku (480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i), but when I tur...

Checking if share is still available

Forgive me if this has been specifically answered, but searching the forums did not give me a clear answer. My NAS will sleep the drive after lack of use (I set it to 60 minutes). The Roku will drop the share when I turn it back 'on' (out of standby). Going through the Network Share settings can get...
I presume YAC is another network protocol. I haven't looked into it enough to know how hard it would be and I don't have a way to test it. If you are already using Growl to receive YAC, can you then make Growl resend it to the Roku?
My PC stays on most of the time, the Mac is usually...

Just got my PhotoBridge off of eBay based upon the threads (and the MPlayDVD discussion). Works great! Revision A with CF card for swap file. For those who care, I'm streaming DVD's from an Argosy enclosure NAS ($89) with a 250GB IDE drive (enclosure can fit up to 400GB). 54g stuttered, so I am goin...

That's sweet. Does the program run in the background and will pop up on any other program running (Mplay, etc)?

Any chance you can make it respond to YAC (Yet another caller ID)? I have it running on my PC to send caller ID to my Mac (via Growl!)
