In the Linksys' internal webpage, is "Filter Multicast" off or on (under Firewall, in the security menu of the router)? Try toggling that and see what you get. That is probably a suggestion that should be made more often (or put into a FAQ or something). One of the guys who works with me has a Bill...

Unlikely, but could the Ethernet cable to the Roku be a bad one or a crossover one? I'm surprised there is nothing at all logged on the router when the device is connected (is its level of logging turned up to the maximum?). Have you physically _removed_ the wireless card from the SB500 before tryin...

Small issues/questions with sketch mode

Hi there: There must be a "missing document" somewhere between the userguide's mention of the existence of telnet mode, and the very good RCP shell documentation PDF. That is, I have struck a couple of funny things with sketch, and I don't know where to look for the documentation, or even if these a...

As far as I know from the other WiFi equipment I have which is set explicitly for Australia, and from a quick googling just now to try to confirm it, Australia allows channels 1-13 inclusive.

I hadn't had ny Soundbridge long enough (literally ony an hour or so) before I installed the 2.5 beta, so I wasn't sure if it was a known/existing problem, or newly-introduced with the beta. I'll cut/paste it over there, but can I safely assume from your reply that you DO have a M1001 connected via ...

To add a bit more information (and hopefully reduce the variables), I just re-ripped the same track but to MP3 this time (VBR, ended up about 208bps) and exactly the same result. It is track 2 from "Listen to the Music: The Very Best of the Doobie Brothers" (Warners, catalog 9548-31094-2). Definitel...

Channels reversed on analog outputs M1001?

I just played the intro to China Grove (Doobie Brothers), which has the guitar play-in in one speaker only (the right one), but I noticed on my Soundbridge it is actually playing from the left speaker - with the analog outputs from the Soundbridge definitely connected to the amplifier the right way ...

The external antenna I have is a "7dBi gain omnidirectional" one which extends my wireless coverage very nicely outside of the house and around the full area of the acre or so we live on. It *should* be enough to get 30' and through two internal gyprock walls into the loungeroom where the Soundbridg...

I already have a (large) external antenna connected to the access point - an enhancement I made to improve the reception for the DLink DSM320 at the other end of the house. It is in what should be a "good spot", but last night I also tried moving it around and changing the angle - and to a small deg...

High signal quality, low signal level - ok?

HI there: I have just bought and installed a new M1001 and have it working via Wireless and running the latest 2.5 beta firmware. I appear to have lower signal strength BUT very much higher quality reported than I have been able to find as being recommended/ok from searching these forums, specifical...
