Re: Radio stations no longer work

I would say that the exact reason is these units are quite old and Roku has moved on.  They are lovely, though. I use the web interface and put my favourite stations there. It is a shame Roku gave up on these.

Re: Soundbridge M500/M1000/M1001/M2000 power issues

Greetings, a few of us still read these forums. Always try a new power supply before trashing these excellent devices! I have 4 M2000s that are working fine, one I had to change the daughter board - I pulled one from an M1000 with a burnt display. The original M1000 (connectors on side) and M2000 bo...

Re: Soundridge freezes whilst off

I have three M2000s and they all do this as well, not all that often. I can tell when it happens because they disappear from my network Simply unplugging from the mains and replugging fixes the problem.

I checked the voltages on two of them, and the hot Roku shows 23.88VDC. The cool Roku shows 23.94VDC. Swapping adapters results in cool getting hot. Clearly it isn't a voltage problem. I have the hot Roku sitting on top of my Moon I-3 amplifier, and the others are sitting alone on shelves. It looks ...

M2000 running hot

I have three M2000s and one runs noticeably warmer than the other two. The case is much warmer to the touch - not hot, just quite a bit warmer. Is this normal?

You guys are costing me money!

Here is my tale of woe: A buddy of mine told me about a neat device called a Roku and described what it could do. I checked his out, and of course I had to have one. I purchased an M1000. Since I had all my CDs ripped to MP3 format, this was really neat - no more CD's when I use my stereo! Got it al...

Ron, gettig the following off your site:

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

RON: NSLU2 cant connect for updates

Ron, you have been a great help so I am hoping you will help here. My Slug won't download anymore, and I have no idea why. As an example, ipkg install xinetd gives a message unable to connect to remote host 140.211.166.82 I cannot ping this address from my slug but can from an XP box on the network....

Ron, your Firefly works great with my slug. Fantastic!

One more question. Is there a way to have the slug tell my drive to spin down when inactive? I have an Iogear 250GB drive plugged into the slug.

Most of my stuff is mp3, but I would like to move to either Apple lossless or Windows lossless and play from the slug. Is it safe to assume that these will never be available via mt-daapd?
