Well, you could change the z pos of a sprite to a high number to force an instant reboot. but...you probably want to do something else. :) Like Joel said, if you have a decent data center, you should certainly have remote access to the rack PDU, if not, you could just get a digital timer for like 3 ...

sounds like a problem that's likely on your box johninfl, I'd try unplugging and replugging the power on your roku.

I had my roku3 acting really weird with all the menus coming up crazy, then I did a reboot and all was well.

the roku likes to run 24/7 so that it can download updates and such at night or whenever. might be worth experimenting with a usb power adapter, you can find them for like 2 bucks, and they only use pennies worth of electricity, would solve this issue as well as the potential problem of your roku al...

well they still are, but it's a lot slower.

the documents folder in the sdk zip has all the information in pdf, but it's hundreds of pages and not necessarily up to date compared to the online stuff. plus the online stuff is searchable.

use good batteries, not dollar store or "box of 50" batteries, they are useless. If you have your remote on a chair or bed or somewhere it will get jostled frequently, it seems to kick on and re-sync frequently and use more power. set it on a hard surface where it won't be moved unless you...
