Re: Feed icon missing from Instant TV Channel channel menu

If their support policy is to point you to this forum, maybe it's time to look for a better solution.

Re: Feed icon missing from Instant TV Channel channel menu

This seems like a question you should be asking at instant TV support.

Re: My Ads are not running

MiniFlyxTv, if you're paying someone to run your ads, you shouldn't be.  There are lots of ad providers that share the revenue with you.  There's no need for you to pay for that service.  Some of those companies monitor this forum.  If they see your post, I'm sure they will contact you.

Re: My Ads are not running

I don't think there is a requirement for viewership hours before ads run. You have the option to use Roku or a third party for your ads. With either one, it takes a few days before ads will appear. And, there's no guarantee that an ad will run during a requested ad break. Most of us use third party ...

Bad Channel Analytics

Has anyone checked the analytics on their channel lately.  I checked today and the only stats that show are Channel Performance.  For the others, I get,

Sorry, there is no data available for the selected date range.

No matter what I use for a date range.

Re: What determines ranking?

I'm a bit confused by what you see as a "ranking". I don't think Roku "ranks" channels in any way. I believe the channel store is designed in such a way as to provide potential users with a star review which is based on other users review of your channel. I don't think Roku wants...

Re: Json feed configuration

You'll need to post your Json feed file for us to examine. Otherwise, all you'll get for help is a guess.

Re: Roku Off Topic Thread

Mitchstein... I finally found time to take a look at the bug you reported. It was caused by an invalidly formatted "lastUpdated" date. The date was not formatted according to the Json spec. And, while the software should not crash, it's important to point out that while Roku may overlook t...

Re: Roku Off Topic Thread

mitchstein: Can you post the log file that's created so I can take a look at the error?  It's in the Documents folder under the product name.  And, if possible, please include the feed file you are trying to convert.

Re: Direct Publisher suggestions

Mosafer...

I took a look at the Roku channel. I think what you're seeing is a series with multiple (3) episodes. That capability is available in the current spec. What isn't available is the way they format the episodes into a horizontal layout. The default layout for episodes appears to be vertical.

Re: DP Feed Status not refreshing on website?

I updated my "live" feed also without any delay.  I usually update it at night so that when I get up the next day, it's done.

Re: Adbreaks for live and series

The fields in a Json feed file are not bound by an order. The only 'rules' for fields are specified in the Roku Json spec. So, moving fields within a feed file is ok as long as they are parented according to the spec.
