I had to do a factory reset and re-link to my account in order to get the unit working.

I pressed and held the factory reset button on the unit for about 15 or 20 seconds until the until rebooted and re-initialized.

I'm currently waiting for it to reload all of my channels.

Tonight my 3500X started doing the same thing... constantly rebooting. Was working this afternoon -- tonight nothing!

Did you change both the DNS to OpenDNS as well as change the MTU? I'm curious as to which one actually solved the problem. I was having similar issues with Netflix at the end of last week, but not on all of my devices.

I'm not sure what caused the problem, but removing and re-installing got them back.

Today my ROKU Streaming Stick 3500X will not launch the following channels:

Drive-In Classics
Smithsonian
YouTube

When I attempt ot launch, the screen goes blanks, and then to the bouncing ROKU letters, as if it's re-booting.

All of the other channels seem to work properly.

Any ideas?

My bad... I had to sign out / sign in again after the update. Everything seems to be working well. NETFLIX starts up in about 2 seconds!

Same problem here -- I de-activated / re-activated and it's back to normal.

You're correct -- I was thinking about the screen saver, not the boot-up screen. My mistake.

Have you tried pressing the 'home' button on the remote when the bouncing ROKU display is shown?

That always brings up the ROKU menu for me.
