Wulgaru, Try this: 1. Download home.pacbell.net/mar_ross/roku/MPlay.roku an put it in the flash card. 2. Reboot the HD1000, just to be safe. Wait for the UI to come up. Don't enable the swap. 3. Go to the setup of the HD1000 and write down the IP address displayed at the top. 4. Go to a c...

Wulgaru, What is your network connection? 100Mps? How did you capture the files? What is the source? OTA, cable, ? Did you try the other TS players? Like StreamPlayer ( http://www.rokulabs.com/support/downloads/StreamPlayer_0.1d.zip ), The built-in player My toy player ( http://home.pacbell.net/mar_...

Hi Travis, This version seems to work much better. Still, I got it to crash the decoder when trying to play from a bookmark. It only hapened once, so I don't have a recipe for making it happen. I really appreciate the 3min skip. In my limited testing, it worked properly. Does it take into account th...

Yet another TS player

All, I just wrote a very primitive TS player based on the decoderplay example. I have a MyHD capture card, so those are the files I'm testing with. * The program assumes a bit rate of 19 Mbps to skip forward/back. It does not sample the stream. * It handles the MyHD file naming, playing files is seq...

Hi Travis, Welcome back. Thanks fo the new release. The exit crash seems fixed, but I can not use the Open First File. It lets me select the file, listing the right stuff, but when it is about to start playing, it crashes in TStreamDecoder::InitPlayback () with an invalid access. If I open the same ...

Travis, Just now I got a chance to try your latest version. For me, it crashes every time I exit it, leaving the decoder in a bad state that requires a reboot. I tried debugging it, but all I know is that it dies in a fread(). My guess is that it is not finding a file or folder it expects. The bad t...

Hi Travis,

Version 1.36 is a keeper. Very nice indeed.

How can I bribe you to add a +3min button?

Great work, enjoy your weekend.

OT Fry's deals

Thanks again Travis for keeping the good work. I won't get to test your latest version until tomorrow.

If you guys live close to a Fry's electronics, today they have a huge sale. Anyone in the SF bay area? They also stock the HD1000, but that is not on sale ($299).

Regards,

Sorry Scott,

I did not want to sound pedantic. Just needed to make sure where you were.

I'm out of ideas. Could you try dropping your resolution to 480i/p? It is just a wild guess.

Scott, Did you copy the "images" folder? It is supposed to be a directory at the same level where TStream.app is. Look at the zipfile. Do you have a swapfile? You may need it, otherwise wierd things happen. The problem with resizing then "Rotate" is pressed was already reported. And, of course, are ...

Hi Travis, I like your new icons. I noticed the following: - I saw the "play" bitmap file in the images folder, but never saw it displayed. Is it to-be-implemented? - The FileNext/FilePrev have no bitmaps. When you press them, the last bitmap that was displayed is shown again. - The bitmaps show up ...

Hi Again,

I decided to give the file-name filtering a try. Here are the results:
http://home.pacbell.net/mar_ross/roku/dirlist.zip

It seems to work fine for listing MyHD files, showing only the first in a sequence.

Not so good

Hi Travis, First of all, thanks for the effort. Maybe I'm using it wrong, but if I hit "Jump Forward" 3 times in a row (without waiting for the first to finish) then I get the "Jump forward" message stuck on the screen. Movie keeps playing. I think that if I wait for each command to complete, then i...

Thank you

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! It worked great! I was able to watch 2 shown last night without disruption. I found the following: - If you play or Skip-FW past the first file, you can not Skip-Back to it. The most it would go is the begining of the current file. Suggestions: - How about a button t...
