Do you still have problems when you start Firefox in safe mode?

Seems to work fine in Safe Mode.

Does that mean that there is an extension that is causing problems??

I've only added a couple. One of them is the Netflix sorting utility using grease monkey.

Unable to log-in

This is not really a Roku specific question, but, more related to using the forum. Whenever I use Firefox I cannot log in to post to the forums. It brings up the login screen and just keeps cycling to the login screen every time I input my username and password. Sometimes on IE 7, I have to try twic...

I cannot remember now which episodes it happened on, but I know it was seasons 1 and 2. There were like 3 episodes that had sounds but no voices.

Do you have other devices that use the 2.4 GHz range? A nearby microwave oven might be causing interference or there are still many cordless phones that use the 2.4 GHz range. Do you have a neighbor close by that is using the same wireless channel you are using? If so, you might try changing the cha...

Re: Roku and Direct TV

Can anyone tell me if Roku works with Direct TV services? I'm thinking of switching from Cox (though Cox works fine with Roku) to Direct TV in order to save some money with their tv service. Also, what about Charter TV service, or Dish? Thanks for any help. Janie The Roku will work in concert with ...

I've looked into doing this too. I would really miss my Discovery Channel package though, and my wife likes The Locator on We TV. There are several websites that are free that can replace alot of what's on cable, but, so far, I don't think it can completely fill the gap. We have basic cable because ...

Saving a PPV movie is not the same thing as saving a recorded show off a broadcast channel. That is what you are failing to realize and that is what is illegal activity. Recording a PPV movie to a DVD is essentially the same thing as sitting in a theater with a camcorder and making a recording of i...

Transferring a PPV to DVD or copying a rented DVD are illegal activities, the time you are allowed to keep it really has no bearing on it, you were not given permission to reproduce the content in any way, shape or form. Not sure what people don't understand about that. I know that copying rented D...

No, recording a PPV movie to a DVD is copyright violation, plain and simple, so you are pirating movies when you rent them and record them to DVD for viewing any time later. It is you who is the moron for not knowing that. IF that is true, then DirecTv would be in line for many a lawsuit for ALLOWI...

You must be a moron since you can pirate movies other ways for free and are dumb enough to ask that question here. Pirate movies? I was not aware that recording a PPV movie was being a pirate. There is nothing in my DirecTv agreement that states anything of the sort. In fact, my DVR has a FEATURE t...

Firefox, Greasemonkey, and the Netflix Queue Sorter script. I didn't see that before I posted the question, but, I just did see that, and just used it. That was perfect! Now, I just want to put the ones that are expiring at one end of the queue. Will check the script for other options...... Looks l...

was excited about Amazon but then when I actually explored what was offered, I yawned. This is old style. $3.99 rentals for 24 hours? Can you record to DVD the Amazon titles? I know you cannot with the Netflix titles. I'd sooner pay DirecTv $4.99 for a PPV title that I CAN burn to a DVD than I woul...

Re-order instant watch queue

I would like to put my Instant Watch queue into alphabetical order. I did this months ago, but, Netflix has made some changes to how the queue is displayed and I cannot seem to do this now. I tried to cut and paste the contents into an Excel spreadsheet, but, it does not paste just right and there i...
