Happy with the Photobridge, but is it too late?

With the new "skinned" SlimRoku (1.0b2), and Beta 0.36, the Photobridge now does pretty much everything I ever wanted it to do. Finding and keeping shares is still an irritant, but that is much better with v 0.36. I don't own a camcorder, or have a TV card in my PC, so I've never cared about streami...

Thanks. That's solved my problem. The new version looks to be quite an improvement.

I get the same problem. The previous version runs fine (or as well as Photobridge lets it!), but when I try the new version, the program screen comes up, but I get a message "No songs found. If scan has finished, verify scan path is correct" There's no obvious way forward from there.

Windows Media Connect

What can WMC do that the Photobridge can't? For instance, can I stream BBC radio to my hi-fi?

Beta 2.0.36 seems to have cured my rebooting issue

I installed the new beta (36) a couple of days ago, and have had no problems so far. Indeed, for the first time, I no longer have to reboot the Roku every time I turn it on befroe I can access my shares.
I don't think I've made any other changes that would trigger this.

Need to reboot

I routinely turn off my computer network at night. When I use my Roku the next day I always have to reboot it before I see my shares. Should this happen? As an aside, I originally used a Motorola cable modem with a Linksys wired router, then the Motorola with a Netgear router, then a Linksys cable m...

Netgear SC101

The Netgear SC101 looks to be a cost effective way to add NAS to a network. Has anyone tried to use one with a PhotoBridge?

Thanks, that worked. I assume I have to keep the CF card in place? There's no way to flash the built-in?

OK......... Now I'm really lost! I assume that a flash share doesn't really reside in the root of one of the network shares that show in the left hand side of the GUI. Where do I put it and how?

Where to install it?

Sorry to be dim, but your instructions say to install to a folder called "ScreenSavers" in the root of a share shown on the left. The left of what?

Problem with WeatherSix

I have the latest WeatherSix installed in a shared WeatherSix directory.
I am running the latest beta, 2.0.28.
The problem is that I can only run WeatherSix once per session. If I try to run it a second time the icon is replaced by a "diamond", and nothing happens if you press select.

I reinstalled 2.0.28, and after a few hiccups (it installed at a different screen resolution this time that my TV didn't support), I tried to "tick" the network shares,. Once again I ran into the pinging problem. I turned off PC-cillin and the problem disappeared. I've put in an exception to the fir...
