Unable to connect to Roku Support on the internet

Roku Support at https://support.roku.com/contactus/contact-options never stops loading. Do you have direct product support?

Re: Unable to connect to Roku Support on the internet

Hi @lostbits,

Thanks for posting here in the Roku Community!

We understand you're having a problem with our website. We're happy to assist you. Please try to restart your phone and try again to access that support website.

Please keep us updated on what you find out.

Best regards,                                                                                                                                            John

Re: Unable to connect to Roku Support on the internet

I think Roku should postpone loading all that fragile Javascript from Zendesk until the user has decided to chat.  As it is now, even a user who wishes to email or phone, gets stuck if the Zendesk code doesn’t load for whatever reason.   (It seems to find some reason fairly frequently.)

@lostbits  I’ve sent you a private message.

Banned but back. Because why not?

Re: Unable to connect to Roku Support on the internet

If they had any direct support, the moderator would have provided that in the reply.

No, they don't.

Once the page stops loading, you get these choices to click on:

Account, payments & subscriptions
Wi-Fi & connectivity
Remote controls
Channels & viewing
Device issues
Setup
Roku features
Audio devices
Roku Smart Home
Return/Replace
Account access
Report a scam

None of those are going to get you any kind of direct support though. Some of the links will give you some incredibly basic advice on trouble-shooting. Stuff you probably thought of on your own, but it's worth looking at if you can get the page to load.

Whatever you need help with, posting your issue in Community Discussions is your best bet for trouble-shooting. A Moderator probably won't even take the time to really read what you wrote. There are a lot of very helpful people in the community though, and many are happy to try to help.

Sorry, but unless the issue is that you just bought a Roku device and it's missing components or is defective, you're probably not getting any kind of meaningful help from anyone employed by Roku. If it's a new device and you bought it from anyone other than Roku directly (like Amazon, Walmart, etc.), you'll get much better service if you contact them for a replacement instead of Roku.
