I abandoned the Roku server and am having (some) success streaming Internet Radio from iTunes. This works using Windows 10, iTunes 12.7, and VisualMR V2.0
VisualMR is a windows app that allows control of the SoundBridge M1001 (download here - http://www.tl-it.de/media/pages/visualmr.php?lang=e
In iTunes 12.7, Internet Radio is hidden (by default). To enable it, hover your mouse over the word "Library" in the upper-left screen, and the word "Edit" will appear.
Click "Edit" and put a checkbox in Internet Radio. Once Internet Radio is enabled, you can select streams from approx. 25 genre, and paste them into a custom playlist.
The SoundBridge needs to connect to your iTunes library. So, in iTunes, make sure that Sharing is enabled and Restrictions are disabled (both found under Edit > Preferences).
I have encountered some technical issues;
- Unfortunately, no streaming channels in the library will play when selected from the Soundbridge menu. Every channel displays "The music format is not supported".
- Some streaming channels in the library won't play when selected from the VisualMR interface: Libraries (double-click your library) > Playlists (double-click your playlist) > right-click the song > Play this song only
Overall, it's not a perfect solution but I am elated to have brought life back into my SoundBridge. When you find music streaming channels that do work (from a selection of thousands), this allow far more than 18 presets in the SoundBridge, and allows control from the comfort of your PC. iTunes also allows you to add streaming channels found on the internet to your custom playlist.
Hope this information is (somewhat) useful.
Best of Luck and Happy Listening!
