M1000 audio cuts out - restart required!

Sat Apr 11, 2009 1:06 pm

Hi guys...I've had an m1000 for a while and I love it. I use it primarily for internet radios stations, and once in while it will lose the audio signal to the amp...the radio station is still playing, and I can switch to other stations without problem, but the audio doesn't come back until I unplug the unit and restart it again. The internet connection is fine, and it even tells me the station is playing, but no audio to the amp.

This is more of an inconvenience to having to restart the unit, but I would still like to resolve it, if possible.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to this forum. A quick search shows that this is a common problem with the M1001. You have already discovered the only way to overcome the problem.

I also have this problem. It is quite inconvienient. What is its cause? Can it be fixed with future firmware updates? It happens regularly and I don't really think it is acceptable.

Next time it happens, don't do anything other then unplug the RCA cables then touch the outter ring of the RCA (on the SoundBridge) with your finger and then plug the RCA calbes back in again. Let me know if that makes it work.
