Roku Store

Tue Jul 13, 2010 10:33 am

I have left voice messages numerous times at 1-408-556-9042 which is the Roku Store for orders placed outside of the US. No one ever returns my call. I am from Canada and need to order a power adapter for my Roku M1001. Anyone have a suggestion.

I was going to say 'order it online' but thought I should check before sending my wise words, looks like they have changed their online store and you have to call them!! What I would do is order it online, they will be in touch very quickly when they notice your are not in the USA I am sure and will ask you to pay additional postage maybe.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Watch out for a ridiculously high shipping charge.

Buy a new PSU from another place. Needs to be 5v, minimum 2A, centre pin positive with a straight edge connector (elbowed ones won't fit into the recess). There must be equivalent of Radio Shack or Maplin stores in Canada.

Same here, I sent email for the procedure to follow ... Got a email from support which obviously did not read the ticket I opened since they indicated to order via the online site.

www.digidave.co.uk here in the UK sales them through eBay, direct from his site and amazon.co.uk, maybe one of those can help you.

I figured out a way to get my order shipped international (to Canada) via the Roku store. You need to pay with your paypal account. Shipping (fedex) was reasonnable compared to anywhere I looked on the web (20$ vs 40$ at most places) .
Hope this helps.

I cannot enter anything other than a US address in the fields provided. You must enter a State and a Zip Code.

Randy:

Read this post and then contact Matt (via a PM to user 'Burkhardi') for a replacement PSU.
