I just installed Ubuntu 10.10 and am looking for a music server for my Roku Soundbridge to access. Apparently the fireflymediaserver website is down, i guess firefly is no longer available? What other music server can i install on ubuntu that the Soundbridge will recognize?

Thanks for that suggestion. I tried to install it on ubuntu 10.10 but got "dependency is not satisfiable libflac7". I have libflac8 installed. Not sure i want to try to work around this...hmm....

Thanks for the feedback. I did give that a try, but it looks like the feisty repositories are no longer available at that URL.

However, soon after my original post i did find, install, test, and became satisfied with a music server that runs on Maverick, was easy to point to an iTunes library, and played through my old M500 Roku Soundbridge:
