I'm Looking For A M1000 Wi-Fi Card

Mon Mar 28, 2016 12:08 pm

Picked up a non-operating M1000 - It came complete except for no 9V P.S., which I could supply. And it seems to work fine with ethernet, but not with wi-fi. Examination of the wi-fi card that came with it showed a sharp-ish dent in the back of the card. I replaced this card with another yanked from a different M1000, and it connected wirelessly with ease. Conclusion: The dented Wi-Fi card is damaged and must be replaced.

So, any ideas other than scouring eBay and CL? Is this same card used anywhere else under a different name perhaps? I'll appreciate any suggestions.

I think I have one in a non-working M1000. I can check to make sure as I haven't looked at it in a while! Anyway, I can toss it in the mail if it's the right one and it's still there. Kinda looks like a CF card if I remember right?
