OK, one of my interets aside from this kind of thing is aviation in all it's forms. So I decided to see whether some of the Live ATC feeds work on the SoundBridge. Two very cool things happened when I tried:
1. Yes it works. For instance, the following URL gives live Air Traffic Control information from JFK in New York: http://audio.liveatc.net:8012/kjfk_twr.m3u
2. While playing the URL the SoundBridge displays METAR information (metereological information) for the selected airport. If you don't understand it, it just looks like gobbledegook, and in all honesty it's pretty uninteresting, but I thought it was pretty cool nonetheless.

Anyway, hopefully some of you out there will find that interesting. Even if you think I'm a geek, have a listen anyway!

This pretty neat...Is there an index for all airports?
I live near SFO (SanFran). Does anyone know?

Does anyone know whether there is a link (or which one) for Thunder Bay, Canada. A mate of mine is an ATC there, be interesting to listen to!
