I am looking for a good NEW YORK station that has 1. News 2. Music and 3. Talk.

For folks in the UK I am looking for something similar to our Radio 2 with a mix of phone ins, DJ commentary, music from different genre and ages BUT transmitted from The Big Apple.

Does anyone have any ideas.

I have a Soundbridge Home Music unit not sure what model number

Here's a couple that I think would be great to have on my Roku:

KBOO Community Radio - based out of Portland OR. Great music programming and lots of locally produced public affairs content. They've been around since 1968.
They are on the web at http://kboo.fm and their webstream (128kbps) is http://live.kboo.fm:800/high

Another is DFM RTV International, which originates out of the Netherlands, but has programmers streaming from all over the world 24 hours.
They are at www.dfm.nu and their stream is http://82.94.213.7/dfm_1

Both added to the database, after I make sure they play on the Soundbridge, they will be live.

welcome to the forums.

DFM - Independent Live Web Radio is in the database (Station ID 17266) and playing on the SoundBridge.

KBOO 90.7 FM Portland, OR is in the database (Station ID 6467), but doesn't play because the audio URL needs to be updated to http://live.kboo.fm:8000/high.m3u.
