Sun Feb 01, 2009 9:16 pm

I got the following radio link

http://www.881903.com/Resourse/VideoPla ... _local.asx
or
mms://mslive02.881903.com/CR2

I can play it on my computer. However, I can't play on Soundbridge.
Anyone can help me? Thanks

When I play the link on Windows Media Player, the properites of the link is just a Windows Media Audio 9.2 16kbps 22kHz mono 1-pass CBR. It's not a Real Audio file.

kwokhy,

a belated welcome to the forums.

The fact that the station doesn't play on the SoundBridge has nothing to do with the codec. RTSP is the standard streaming protocol used by Windows Media Services. This protocol is not supported by the SoundBridge.

Just for general information >
To check if a station is using the RTSP streaming protocol, open WMP, go to ‘Tools’, select Options, then Network, then uncheck the boxes RTSP/UDP & RTSP/TCP – If it is then found that the station uses RTSP streaming protocol, then as it has already been explained to you, whilst it will play on your PC, it is NOT supported by the SoundBridge.
