RadioRoku.Com - NEW “Hosting Server” Issues

Thu Mar 11, 2010 4:18 am

Well Roku, you may have chosen a better company than Lunar Pages, however you still managed to brick the Radio Roku service so we currently can’t use/access any ‘’Favourites” and there are no Top Stations and currently no browsing on any SoundBridge devices.

And as usual from the Management, not one single word by way of an apology or explanation - Come on RokujamesL, let's hear from you, you can do better than those who came before you

Is this still happening? I've had two different people try and they are unable to reproduce this problem.

Are you located in the UK or the US?

Changes to a domain registration can take a while to ripple through all internet DNS servers. ISP's may have their own caches, adding to the problem. Wait for 24-48 hours for the problem to resolve itself.

Have they tried with a SoundBridge or from a computer?

Jeremy,

with all due respect, that's nonsense. radioroku.com is perfectly reachable from a computer. However, my SoundBridges on the same network, using the same router, the same ISP and the same DNS server as the computer don't get any information from radioroku.com whatsoever. I checked this from two different locations.

Furthermore if I use the IP address of radioroku.com (204.232.199.197) the situation remains the same.

Well, not nonsense. It just doesn't apply in this case.

Admitted, but I was referring to your last sentence. My apologies if I sounded a bit harsh.

We found the source of the problem and corrected it on our side. It should be working now.
