I concur ... it does seem like a traffic issue. Now that I have all my presets on my roku, it sucks that none of them work as expected. I'd happily give a little $ to the people who run this stream to make it better for us!

M1000 Display when streaming XM

Fri Dec 01, 2006 5:36 pm

When I stream XM, per this forum, it works, but the display is static "aka playing XM26, the Soundbridge displays MIX left justified and the equalizer. If I use this same method using SlimRoku, by Endless on my photobridge instead of the Soundbridge, I get the song title and author. Is there a way to get the Soundbridge to do the same ???

Any update on this? I still only see the info I entered into my Preset field.

For me, this box is the perfect internet radio interface, but it doesn't support many premium services very well.

I found a way to stream XM Radio to my SB without using any server on my PC.

1) Get the latest 2.5 beta software on your SB
2) Set a internet radio preset to:

http://www.xstreamxm.com/mobile/stream. ... rpassword& chan=20&speed=high

*be sure to enter your email address, password, and channel # in the URL*

Does the trick work with the free xmstations available on AOLRadio ?

Is there any way to put these streams on the SB ?
I'm a big fan of Flight26 :)

AOL

I've not found a way to stream AOL radio-other than the free streams that are included on XM radio online.

Now, what I'd really like is something that will work for Sirius too.

XM Problems

Sat Jul 28, 2007 1:21 pm

I'm also having problems today. But, I'm also having difficulties on a Reciva based radio that I have. Perhaps XM has changed its log in procedures or web address. Hopefully we can be back to running soon. If others get updates, please post!

It is back to working for me today. Last night I noticed that xm411.com was also down, so I think the server must have crashed. Glad it is back up now. Such a great service to offer.

Is this link for existing XM Radio subscribers only?

Yes. Requires username and password, the main reason we even need this workaround.

Can anyone confirm that this is working again? My XM credentials are good, but the Soundbridge never finds the stream. :-(
