can you try 0.82b - I tried to slim the binary down some and I compiled with -Os which tries to reduce the size of the resulting binary When mythroku is running can you look under top to see if it is swapping a bunch. 0.82a was a little bigger than past versions.

Please try with and without commercial skipping, and let me know if its a hd or sd recording

Only the shows recorded from my OTA DVB pcHDTV HD-5500 card seems to cause problems. I saw this message pop up:
MDecoder 1
MDecoder 2
MDecoder 3
libdvbpsi error (PSI decoder): TS discontinuity (received 1, expected 0)
libdvbpsi error (PSI decoder): TS discontinuity (received 1, expected 0)

This error didn't pop up on the 82a version. 81l continues to play the same files just fine. Shows recorded by my WinTV-PVR-500 play just fine with 82b.

can you retry 0.82b (the stripped down binary) again. I made some changes that hopefully will help rev a owners. I fixed a small issue at 9:10 CST so please redownload.

The new .82b works with all my shows now. Great work! Thank you for continuing to make this an even better program.

good, I need to post another version with a couple of bug fixes that will cause the app to crash when you leave the record set up menu

added a new feature now that (for me at least) the tvguide comes up very quickly.

When the program guide is displayed in live tv, pressing the select key changes the channel to the highlighted channel (in yellow) while otherwise sets up the recording menu.

Jim when I download .82b it is a source file. Is the link wrong ?

Thanks for moving the common graphics out to a area that are changeable. I have one more request - could you expose the "fonts" so that they are changeable.

Hopefully not to much for the "Great One". You should take pride in what you have done with MythRoku - maybe a change of name is im order - maybe it should be McClarenRoku or McRoku.

no its a zipped binary called srcb - thats what the makefile produced and I didnt rename it before uploading. Just rename it to mythroku.app

I would like to hear if you, like ,me, see a great speed up in all aspects of the app.

I'll look into the font issues. There are several sizes used as you can see do you want to be able to change all of them?

PS don't forget that if yoiu can't get livetv to start that your /etc/hosts file on the roku may need an entry for the hostname and ip of the backend (see my notes on the website)

Definitely faster !

i am interested in being able to change the font colors more than the actual fonts , but I guess they go hand in hand.

An observation - I run SVN and I am not sure when or why but the HDTV flag no longer shows - any thoughts ?

Once again thanks for all your work.

did you put hdtv.png in Themes/current?

If so, and it doesn;t show then maybe the protocol changed some. Does the commflag show?

I will look at the font/color issue to see what can be done

Yes it is there. I also checked mythconverge and the recordings are marked in the hdtv field. There was another protocol change with the lastes build from ATRPM's.

I now have four themes with different color schemes and I believe they would lokk alittle better if the font colors could be changed. Is there anyway to set a field to change the "theme directory" when I want to changed the theme ? Would be easier to do ?
Could you set it up where the themes could use XMl so that a user could easily place data where he wanted ? Remember i'm not a programmer - just a thought.

Anyway, once again thanks for another great improvement in the application.

new version fixes a few more bugs - in the guide mainly, and allows most display fonts to be changed via an input file defaults.txt kept in your Themes/yourtheme directory (default theme is in Themes/mythroku)
enjoy!

fixed small format error in guide 13:49 cst
fixed guide to center on current prog in livetv 17:37 cst

Anyone running mythroku with svn trunk. This would be after the multirec sync to trunk?

I'm running on build 15475, built on 1/20. I have been having problems building on my mac since 15478, however.

82.c works well with this build.
