I would like to be able to look at the code and would appreciate it being released.
On a sort of relate note I have one rokuy attached to an sd tv and output at 480i through component. I tried tvplay to see what would happen and it displayed all my digital channels! Pretty cool. I thought it would barf on those that were hd but it didnt.

Are you saying general release of the source, or are you looking for someone to pick up the ball and run with it?
The reason I ask is that like many I'd love to get a peek at your source code, but have nowhere near the "expertise" required to fill your socks, nevermind shoes.
