VLC & RTSP

Wed Aug 22, 2007 5:55 pm

I have a tuner that supports RTSP protocols which I am able to play via a windows VLC client (0.8.6). I looked in the VLC built in SDesk (0.8.1) but the support was not there for RTSP streams.
I've read the VLC release notes and seen there as been some work in between both version, is there a VLC executable of version 0.8.6 for the HD1000 I could use somewhere ?
I am not done setting up my dev box to compile one myself and would REALLY appreciate trying the feature out before I spend too much time making my dev box.
Thanks !

Marcelo, Endless, Andy ... Anyone ?!?
I guess I'll have to build my own box and compile it myself :(

FYI, this is to test a new feature of my HAVA (Sling competitor) which has a NTSC tuner, IR blaster and audio/video inputs. If this works, I would try to find time, learn a bit of cascade and build a client based on VLC or MPlay (both player are supposed to support RTSP) for the HD1000 (like TV-Play for the HDHomerun)

Thanks in advance
