MPlay:Long blank screen at beginning of Chronicles of Narnia

I ripped Chronicles of Narnia using DVD Decrypter. When I try to play it with MPlay, nothing happens - screen is just blank. MPlay isn't very responsive to the controls (fast forward, info, etc.), either. However, if I hit FF 3min and wait for about 30 seconds the movie eventually starts playing and everything seems to be in sync.

Any suggestions?

DVD Decrypter is a bit old at this stage, so some of the newer movies have copy protection that it doesn't quite handle correctly. The blank screens are a result of this copy protection on the DVD - so nothing that MPlay can really work around.

Use DVDFab Decrypter---it's the "new" DVD Decrypter, is updated, and is free. It's not as feature-rich, but it works to rip a movie in its entirety and handles pretty much any of the new stuff out there.

DVD Decryptor will work if you then post process the rip with VOBBlanker. I ripped the movie in File mode and selected ALL Files. Then load it into VOBBlanker and process all.

I'll have to look into DVD Fab thing to see if that works better.
