I received an Email Mail from Roku with a link to "Sign up for Beta Testing". This link is not to Roku but a survey Company.
As part of the registration form it requests my "ROKU SERIAL NUMBER". Is it safe to disclose your Roku Serial Number ?
Can your serial number be used for illeagal purposes ?

The link is to an online survey tool we are using to collect information of people interested in beta testing for us. The information you enter, including your serial number is only used for beta testing and nothing else. We ask for that in order to target people's Roku players to get beta software.

How can you sign up or get sent the survey, I would like to be a beta tester.
