Each time I access the Roku forums I have to login despite checking the box to remember me each time. It could be my windows settings of course but no other forum I visit has me go through the sign in procedure each time unless I delete my cookies. I can be on this site and browse elsewhere for a moment then return and have to login again without ever closing my browser (IE8).
No big deal. I was wondering if others have this issue.

Sounds like a bad cookie. (which remembers your login) This is a common problem on message boards.

You might want to try clearing your cookies and then see if it works correctly.
