My new HD box came today. The wireless setup was going fine (three green lights) until it got to software update. After an hour of 0 progress I went to dinner. After 3 hours I turned it off. Now it won't connect at all. Any help?

Well, I'm brand new to the Roku, but when mine new Roku crashed while doing the initial software update, I unplugged the power and then reconnected it, and the software update started again and this time completed successfully.

I have a similar issue using the XD/S, brand new plugged everything in, it sees my network, i enter my SSID, i get three green lights and I get a 100% download of the update and them BOOM - get a popup that says cannot connect to roku. try again later.

Anyone have a solution?

First thing to try, if possible, is connect the Roku wired for the initial firmware update.

Then, post in the correct forum. This one gets some traffic but not nearly as much as the one you really should be posting in.
