Hooking Up Roku to Tivo

Fri Jan 28, 2011 7:45 pm

I did not see at direct answer to this question when I searched this forums.
I have Tivo. Could I hook Roku into Tivo so that I can replay shows that I missed?

If I can drop my DirecTv costs I am definitely interested.
Is there a better way that I have missed.?

Thanks

since everything streamed on Roku for the most part is "on demand" you never "miss" anything, and many offerings on Roku are copy-protected, such as Netflix, so you can't record it anyway.......

If you are a teacher, the MPAA has agreed it is legal to set up a camcorder, point it at your tv set, and film a movie being played, and use that recording in your classroom. Heaven forbid you actually play the real DVD in your class, or a ripped DVD though.
