Hardware requests for the M1000 and R1000 (Radio):

M1001:

- Keep the HR screen as on the R1000 as this screen is much better.
If the screen can be increased further, then even better. (I now dont enjoy using the M1001 as much after using the R1000 !)
- Add preset and navigation buttons as on the R1000

R1000

- Add an ethernet port.
- Add sleep button on the remote. (I suppose this could be done now, as the functionality is already on the unit. But we are running out of buttons on the remote!)


Both:

- Add FF and RW functionality for audio tracks (as other media streamers seem to be able to do it!)
- Add a 'Stop' button on the remote control to make it more user-friendly, as the kids have asked 'How do you stop the song, instead of pausing it?'
- Add bookmark functionality.

After this you should have near perfect music streamers !

It would be super If the Sound bridge had an SD slot . Then we could play music with out pc......

Definetaly would like to see an Ethernet port on the R1000. Wireless in my house keeps dropping but I do have the house wired for CAT6.

802.11g, because 802.11b seems to be too slow for WAV streaming, which is required for unsupported audio formats.
