nepTune for Palm OS (need beta testers)

Tue May 29, 2007 9:29 am

Hi,

I was looking for a decent way of controling the soundbridge from a palm hand held device and never found anything but web interfaces.

Altough a web interface works, I found none that would handle large collection easily. Peoples dislike the long waiting time between operations. So I started building a native palm application.

Basically, it implements simple queue management operations (play, pause, stop, previous, next and clear)

It also implement library browsing by artists/albums/song. Songs can be added/played individually or by album.

There is also configurable filters on the artist list to help browsing of big library.

I built this using Firefly and a palm Lifedrive on Garnet 5.4.

I would like some people helping me to test the application. I have been using it for a couple of days now and it look stable enough so I can have other people try it.

If someone is interested please reply.

Alex.

I got a ps3 and a psp so I sold my soundbridge and my lifedrive. If anyone is willing, I can give him the source code for nepTune.

It is built using HB++.
