Debugging UPnP problems

I'm implementing a UPnP server and my SoundBridge is currently failing to connect, with the very useful "failed to connect" error message. Is there some secret way to get access to internal logs, so I can find out what the SoundBridge didn't like about the UPnP server?

In particular, it calls GetSearchCapabilities (which returns either "" or "*", we've tried both), and then says "connection failed".
