I'm trying to telnet (port 4444) to my SoundBridge on a different Lan.
The terminal does not seem to be connecting. Does anybody know if the SoundBridge blocks connections from other lans and if so is there a way to open this up.

Does telnet work locally, when you're on the same lan as the soundbridge? is it possible your router is blocking the telnet connection?

I've seem some cases where wireless security being enabled causes telnet to fail.

Telnet works locally. I've opened up port 4444 on my WiFi router and directed all traffic to the SoundBridge's address. I checked that I could open up other ports in the same way and point them at a tcpip service on the same lan as the SoundBridge. This does seem to be a SoundBridge issue. Any suggestions ?
