Wireless Touch Screen Control Point for Soundbridge

Thu Jan 08, 2009 1:09 am

Has anybody tried to integrate the soundbridge with the controlpoint from linksys?

http://www.linksysbycisco.com/US/en/products/DMRW1000

Linksys states to be upnp/dlna compliant. If this is true, the DMRW1000 were a very nice remote for the soundbridge...

You might be better off buying an iPod touch and installing RokuRemote or PlugPlayer. There are also applications for others such as Sonos and Logitech (slim devices) for iPod touch/iPhone.
Roku M1001 3.0.52, Pinnacle R1000 3.0.52, QNAP TS109 Pro II 1TB running Twonky 4.4.9.

It's $350 just for the remote that is only a remote.

An iPod Touch or a Nokia Internet Tablet (N800 or N810) can be had that would do the same thing with the Soundbridges for less cost and provide much more functionality than just a remote.
