I went through major aggro when I got my first SBridge M1000. Eventually got it working successfully with Firefly but it wasn't pretty there for a while.
So, two years later, when I'm test driving a Thecus N299 for a client, I'm dead impressed to see it just plain *appear* on the M1000's menu and, when I selected it, work.
And when I tested a Zyxel NSA220 NAS/Server with Zyxel's DMA1000 media player, that was instant success too. AND I noticed that the NSA220 also appeared as an avaialble server on the M1000's screen. But the M1000 says it can't connect.
As, indeed, does my SoundBridge Radio.
Any idea what's going on? I daresay you'll tell me Soundbiridge is not DNLA compliant but it seems to be talking to at least *some* DNLA servers without further ado.
I don't know what the server code is on the NSA200 - possibly Mediabolic, but I won't swear to it. I'm lokoing for later firmware for the NAS. I'll also send teh SB to see if it can find any later f/w.
