OK, given the power supply problems are by now Very Well Known I suppose it's reasonable to assume that the manufacture OUGHT to do something about it.
But since they won't, then I guess if ANY psu fails we all ougth to be able to force the retailer to take the unit back as "not fit for the purpose".
As such, one option would appear to be, buy a radio, enjoy it alot until it fails, then take it and a big bat down to the retailer to return it. Then buy another one...
But
if I buy a radio *knowing* there's a manufacturing defect, does that mean I have any less rights to return it on the basis of that defect when it fails?
