R1000 Repair

Does Roku repair R1000's or suggest RELIABLE ,Repair service ,won't power up , I;m NOT handy with soldiering iron

You probably need a new power supply. You can order one for $9.99 from here:

My Roku N1000 needed one after a few years. I got a replacement more expensive at Fry's but didn't like the lines it put on my screen. I found the above Roku one..which fits all Roku boxes gave me the cleanest picture.

When the supply goes out.....the box appears "dead".
Original Roku Model N1000,bought 2008 (2014 still works perfectly)

2016 new owner of Roku 3600 (HDMI) streaming stick

I believe the R1000 is an old SoundBridge Radio. If so, you're better off posting in the SoundBridge forums: viewforum.php?f=16

Thank you, TheEndless, for catching this. I just thought he meant the N1000 and typed the R instead. Good catch. :D

Correct it is the Radio, power supply built in ,unlike my m2000 ,and m1000 that just snap in , but thanks will try another venue .
