whys it doing that, also is there any way to force start it once its stopped

If you are running the latest nightlies, you probably want to back down to 1589 or so. Still some db reentrancy issues in nightlies.

http://nightlies.mt-daapd.org, and then you'll have to click on "see all snapshots" and scroll back to 1586.

cheers got that installed now but when i view

it asks for admin n password, i never used to before, whats the default one

i`ve tried mt-daapd but no luck username blank,
no probs it was firefly
