Twonyvision & Firefly Incompatible on NSLU2?

Sat Jul 26, 2008 11:35 pm

Hi,

So I've had Firefly running on my Slug for at least two years without major issues. In June I purchased a wireless picture frame for my wife and installed Twonkyvision as well on the Slug to serve up some photos. My intention has been to continue using Firefly for my music and the Soundbridge, but ever since I installed Twonky, Firefly will only run for a few hours and then the Soundbridge looses track of it. I also cannot access Firefly via the web interface until I reboot my Slug. Then the cycle starts over again.

Is this a problem with Twonky and Firefly not working together properly? I'm using svn-1586. I am at a loss here...

Thanks!

Turn on error logging to see what Firefly has to say.

You can do that via the web interface. You will have to configure logging in two places.
The logfile field needs a directory & file name. The default is /var/log/mt-daapd.log
You will also need to set the debug level. 5 is a good place to start. If there's nothing obvious then increase it to 9
