FireFly 2 - Developers needed nows!

Mon Feb 08, 2010 2:01 pm

Hi guys and gals, not sure if your aware or not but over on the firefly forums a few people are trying to get FireFly development up and running again! (http://forums.fireflymediaserver.org/vi ... =2&t=29772) The website is http://fireflymediaserver.net/ and if you anyone whos interested can email them asap as I fear developers might not be aware that this is happening and the whole project could die very easily (as it sounds like the web developer is getting slightly fed up).

Did you look at the other Firefly fork mentioned in http://forums.rokulabs.com/viewtopic.ph ... 211#146211 ? There is no mention of who is responsible for it.

The question is what do they intend to do with it since Soundbridge is now eol. Support for UPnP perhaps, but there are a lot of other UPnP servers already out there.
