Need Firefly DL

Wed Oct 26, 2011 1:07 pm

Hey all, I reinstalled my computer, and can't seem to find the latest version of firefly anywhere (looks like fireflymediaserver.org is offline). Any one have a link to the latest stable version? It was working so perfectly before my OS reinstall. Thanks!!

Hi Bluearm,

welcome to the forums.

That's svn-1586 (for those who don't like shortened links, the complete URL is http://web.archive.org/web/20110726054937/http://nightlies.fireflymediaserver.org/version.php?version=svn-1586).

svn-1696 (the latest nightly) can be found here:

Unfortunately, the above download link for svn-1696 appears to be dead.

I've been running svn-1586 but I've just updated my Windows version of Firefly Media Server to svn-1737.
You can get it by extracting Firefly Meda Server.exe from the HP MediaSmart Server Update 2.5

I've now been running Firefly Media Server svn-1737 (Windows) for nearly five months and it's very stable. I uploaded it to my blog last November and it's been downloaded nearly 140 times since then so obviously, people still use Firefly.

For anyone who wants it, you can download it directly from here
