Soundbridge can't see Firefly server

Sun May 14, 2006 11:41 am

HI
my Pinnacle Soundbridge doesn't see my firefly server running on WinXP SP2. It does only see my Windows Media Connect Server. The firefly server is running without any failures. Can anyone tell me what to do?
Thanks!

Greetings

Is ist possible that the firefly server only works with a soundbridge running 2.5.150 or higher? My Soundbridge has 2.5.133
The problem is that the SB doesn't find upgradeserver. It says: connection failed. It plays radiostations without any problems.

Firefly support was not added until 2.5.150.

The problem is that the soundbridge couldn't connect to the upgrade server. It always failed. Connection to internet radio works fine!!!
Isn't the server running?

It still doesn't work! Is there anyone with the same problem?
Is there another way to get the new firmware to the Soundbridge?
Thanks!

I don't know of any other way, and I think Roku has said that they don't have any other supported method.

What kind of router do you have? Could you take it somewhere else, a friend's or work, to get it updated?

I have never seen anyone be able to play internet radio, but not be able to update...

Hatho,

Can you play internet radio?

If so, PM me your Wired MAC address.
