I didn't know the HD1000 could use MircoDrives!

This is neat! I formated with FAT32 and stuck some pictures and songs on.

I figured what the hey and stuck on in the ole HD1000 and BAM.. it saw it 8) 8)

How big of a MicroDrive can this thing use? Anyone know?

I bought two 4GB Hitachi MicroDives from wOOt for $19 for the pair (new-OEM) and they work like a charm!

My HD1000 Rev A doesn't recognize 4 gb or 5 GB microdrives. :(

I still need to try a video file off of it, but here is what I have so far...

Hatichi 4GB Microdrive
I installed the follwing apps on it and they run from it.
1. SlimRoku
2. WeatherSix
3. Artpacks
4. mPlay

I'll move a video file next.

PSmith, what brand MD do you have? I'll go to the shop later and try mine on a Rev-A, perhaps its a hardware issue?

I tried my Hatachi MicroDrive on two different REV-A units at the shop and it/they worked fine.

What are you formating yours as/to? I want to say I am formating mine with FAT32.
