Great Radio Stations

Sun Nov 16, 2008 9:53 am

I’d like to know what other people’s favourite radio stations are. There are so many, perhaps we could make suggestions and we could try them out and see if we like them. The name and a brief description would be appreciated.

Have you registered with
Have you attempted to use the various widgets there? such as 'Top Stations' and 'All Streams' (within the Volunteer Centre) -

These will clearly show you the info you seek

If you like country or similar music I find "Wild West Radio" to be pretty good - good sound quality and they always show artist and song title. This is on the Radio Roku database.

WSM 650 AM from Nashville, TN is also good - home of the Grand Old Ophre - a very historic station in U.S. radio history

cheers - 8) :D

Well .. may I propose my project GKRadio Europe ?
The RoKu ID is 43045
streams at 128 kbps 44.1 kHz stereo and the format offers a wide variety in music
You can even make realtime requests at the website .. and by using a set of 5.1 speakers you have to experience a great sound

So enjoy listening
