Hi johnnylancer,

welcome to the forums.

To setup Favourites you have to register yourself and your SoundBridge at Radio Roku.

Hello
Radio Roku not finding my device even though it is playing at the time.
Asking for me to input IP address of device to set up manually,
I dont know how to do this.
As this device is previously owned it probably still is assigned to 1st owner.
Can I default to factory settings?
Thanks John

John,

Radio Roku not finding my device even though it is playing at the time.

That's a known issue which is caused by Radio Roku's very old java code. A possible workaround is to temporarily disable the next generation plugin in Java's control panel.

Asking for me to input IP address of device to set up manually,
I dont know how to do this.

Depending on the network connection of your SoundBridge you can check its IP address by going to

Change Library or Configuration -> System Configuration -> Show Wired Ethernet Status

or

Change Library or Configuration -> System Configuration -> Show WiFi Status

from the SoundBridge's main menu. You'll have to scroll down to find the IP address.

As this device is previously owned it probably still is assigned to 1st owner.
Can I default to factory settings?

Restoring the factory settings won't release the SoundBridge from the previous owner's account. You'll either have to contact the previous owner and ask him to release the device from Radio Roku or contact forum user DerekHelps and ask him to change the unique identifier of your SoundBridge.

Greetings

I have input my IP address manually and now I can add favourites
Thanks for the help.
Did not get anything on adding my own email so I presume machine still tagged to original owner.
Can I do this?

Care to elaborate? You can't register a SoundBridge which is still linked to another user's account.

If you were able to register the SoundBridge with Radio Roku it is now linked to your account and will show up in the "Devices" widget on the homepage.
