separate "favorites" for each soundbridge in house

Mon Aug 13, 2007 3:18 pm

as requested, i'm putting this up as a feature request.

right now, the favorites list is applied to all soundbridges in the household. can we have the option to have separate sets of favorites, one for each soundbridge unit? the option to use one list for all units should, of course, remain as well.

I don't know what the Roku people may think of this, but - as a kind of work-around - why don't you set up an additional account on Radioroku and assign your 2nd (or 3rd or ...) SoundBridge to this separate account with its own favourites?

Not very elegant, but you should get what you want: separate sets of favourites on separate devices.

Thanks fm, good idea. I was about to ask for a list-per-MAC feature within an account, but your suggestion should get the job done.

So Roku folks, what say you? Would you prefer we just setup multiple accounts?
And by the way, how many stations can we have in our Favorites list?

Anyway, thanks for the useful new feature.

For right now, just having separate accounts is the only way to get distinct Favorites lists.

The number of favorites is basically not limited.
