I am also having the same issue with CBS All Access when trying to use it on my TV Roku.  It loads.  Plays for a couple of minutes then crashes back to the  homepage.  Reboot did not fix the problem.

I’m having the same problem Appalachian for a couple minutes and then goes to Roku home screen or causes Roku to reboot

I'm also experiencing the same problem as others attempting to watch "Star Trek Discovery" on the CBS All Access app on my Roku.

The show will play for a little while then either abort to the main Roku home screen or reboot the Roku.

I've confirmed my unit is running the latest software. I've uninstalled the CBS All Access app, rebooted my Roku, reinstalled the CBS app and the problem persists.

My unit's details:
Model: 3100X - Roku 2 XS
S/N: 13C27K067035
SW Version: 7.70  Build 4135-02

Hope to see a fix soon.

We've tried a number of times to watch CBS All Access and after a few minutes the screen goes black while the episode and the sound is still playing. Nothing we do stops it from happening.

Hi... Like so many here, I am completely frustrated with the CBS All Access App.  I do have most recent firmware, have removed and added channel (had to unsubscribe first) and have rebooted several times.

God, same here! I’ve done all that and nothing seems to work. It’ll just silently go back to the main Roku menu for no reason. Like every couple minutes. It took me almost 2 hours to watch a one hour episode. It’s hard to work out and fiddle with remotes. (Especially rowing, running, weight lifting.) This irritates me no end.

On occasion, when you go back to the show after this happens it will put you at a time you weren’t at — like 10 minutes farther into the show. And rewinding (or fast forwarding) puts you into a commercial break *no matter what.* You could’ve just sat through five minutes of commercials and if you have to rewind you’re going to sit through another five minutes. Wth is THAT about?!

Fix it please. $6.99 a month for this is ridiculous. I feel bad for the people who developed this show and are losing viewers because of these totally unnecessary and amateur problems.

Thank you..  In the meantime I am wondering if I can get a credit for my subscription until it is fixed... I would unsubscribe but I would like to keep checking to see if it is fixed....

Wow, the problems with CBS All Access are horrible.  For what it's worth the content seemed to play more consistently.  The commercials were the problem.  I never got through the second commercial break.  The player kept resetting or at least going back to the home screen and after the 9th or 10th time I gave up.  I watched the rest of Star Trek on my laptop and the only bonus was that the system seemed to know that I had already watched 20 commercials so I saw the rest commercial free!

Glad to see I am not the only one.  Did the delete, reboot, add, reboot and that didn't work.

I am also suffering from a few minutes of play and then it crashes every time. Hoping for a fix soon! Removing the channel “CBS All Access” and then adding it back doesn’t help nor does rebooting.

Same dadgum problems as everyone else with cbs. all access.

Have a model 3600rw in another room that it works on, and a model 3600r that I haven't checked yet..
