Some Roku devices are not able to rotate these portrait side-ways videos during playback. In order to restore the ability to FF/REW/RESUME video playback RMP needed to choose the original file to playback instead of always picking the transcoded one. I'll file an enhancement request to provide a way for the user to control this.

I'm new to the Roku world.  I have the Premiere+ (7.7.0).  I was under the impression that .AVI was not supported natively and have verified that that is the case for me unless transcoded upstream.
So, I'm interested in your statement "My .AVI files work again ".  Can you provide details?

can Roku play webm file of type  vp8 + opus  or h264 +opus

Input #0, matroska,webm,
Stream #0:0(eng): Audio: opus, 48000 Hz, stereo, fltp (default)
Stream #0:1(eng): Video: h264 (Constrained Baseline), yuv420p(progressive),

or
Input #0, matroska,webm
    Stream #0:0(eng): Video: vp8, yuv420p(progressive)

Also what should be the streamformat for webm files? if you can point me to some webm file which can play on Roku that would be great, any sample code would also be helpful

Thanks
