It sounds like this could be related to the stream you are receiving from Netflix. If your network connection isn't providing enough bandwidth to your TV, or there is an issue in the content delivery mechanisms that the channel is using, these could both cause DV content to not be displayed. 

I'd recommend testing playback with streaming stats enabled in the Netflix channel. When you enter the channel, and select a content title tile, before you press play, press the * key once on your remote. Then, play the title. You will see additional stats about your video stream appear in the upper lefthand corner of the screen. Then, based on what you are seeing, try troubleshooting your network connection by rebooting your TV and router, etc. or try contacting Netflix support if you need additional help from there.
